[ARCHIVED] Winter Storm Alert - Stay Prepared with Lawrenceville Utilities

Lawrenceville Utilities and the City of Lawrenceville are proactively preparing for severe winter weather to minimize potential service disruptions. Winter storms may result in power outages, dangerous travel, and treacherous roads. Forecasts project a wintry mix, including ice and freezing rain, starting early Friday for the metro Atlanta area.

Our Readiness & Response

Lawrenceville Utilities crews are ready and on standby as freezing temperatures approach. However, power restoration efforts could be delayed by ice buildup on trees and power lines, along with road hazards resulting from the storm. Please take precautions in advance and stay prepared for severe weather throughout the winter storm.

Stay Safe & Report Issues

Customer safety is our top priority. Report all downed lines immediately to Lawrenceville Utilities and always consider them energized.
