Due to inclement weather and icy conditions, our sanitation schedule has been adjusted to ensure safety and efficiency. Here’s what you need to know:
Schedule Update
- Thursday, 1/23: Sanitation Crews will collect trash for both Tuesday and Wednesday routes.
- Friday, 1/24: Sanitation Crews will collect trash for Thursday routes.
- Large Item Pick-Up: Pre-scheduled pick-ups will continue for Friday, 1/24.
Please note that City of Lawrenceville Sanitation Services is already operating on a holiday schedule, meaning all collections are one day delayed. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these weather challenges. Stay safe!
Addressing Challenges
Sanitation Schedule Challenges
We appreciate your patience as we adapt our sanitation services during this icy weather. Here are some factors impacting the schedule:
- Icy Side Streets: Slippery conditions may slow down our crews, especially with the double-route schedule on Thursday.
- Limited Resources: Some Street & Sanitation Crews are managing sanding and road safety efforts.
We are committed to serving you safely and effectively. If your trash isn’t picked up on schedule, please leave your carts out, and we’ll get to them as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!
Safety First!
To help our sanitation and street crews work safely and efficiently, please:
- Keep streets and sidewalks clear of obstructions.
- Avoid parking vehicles too close to trash bins or on icy roads where crews are working.
Your support helps us serve you better. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this winter weather!
Large Item Pick-Up Reminder
Despite the icy conditions, our Large Item Pick-Up is still scheduled for Friday, 1/24. This is a prescheduled service. For additional information, visit lville.city/large-item.
If you have prescheduled a Large Item Pick-Up, please have items ready for collection, place them curbside, and ensure they’re easily accessible. We’ll work to collect them on schedule. Thank you for your cooperation as we adjust to weather challenges. Stay safe!
